The traps specific airborne chemicals - VOCs - with enhanced, impregnated, activated carbon as well as particles with its 40sq ft HEPA filter.

Air enters from all sides and exits from the top. This provides 360° all around air intake and distribution. This simple and direct internal airflow avoids noisy turbulence associated with many air purifiers. Large particles are captured by the pre-filter. Airpura's unique pressure seal ensures that all of the dirty air passes through the filters.

Dwell time - For best results the correct dwell time of the pollutants over the carbon bed is vital. The 560 CFM impeller/motor combined with the variable speed control allows airflow to be set foe best results.

A 2" deep 40 sq ft HEPA filter traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Warm rolled to avoid cracking at the folds.

A refillable 18 lb 2"deep carbon filter absorbs airborne chemicals, noxious gases and odors.

A separate electrical parts chamber prevents any off gassing from capacitors, condensers or switches.
